Mixing with dead leaves and rhymes
My heart is orange.
Our OverlookI sit alone and remember
Wonderful days gone by;
We used to hold hands

On this hard wooden bench
In the warm summer sun.
But now summer's gone,

Autumn has swept the land,
Leaving leafy ceilings and carpets
Of bright red, orange, and gold;
Like fire against the dusky gray skies.
Cold, lonely mornings;
Dark, lonely evenings.
I can almost hear your laughter
Among the brittle dancing leaves;
And my heart feels as cold
As the bitter chill of the wind.
Our Overlook is a blur of
Beautiful colors through my tears.
Autumn SkyI'm standing in the rain
Lost track of what I'm saying
I'm waiting for the one who leads the way
To lead me through the Autumn Sky
A pathway to the stars
Written in eternal words
